Are you e-legal ?

Did you know your emails are probably breaking the law if you are a UK limited company ?

From the 1st January 2007 emails were classed as business letters and, as such, need to conform to the Companies House regulations that previously applied to printed material.

Additionally, your website is covered by the same legislation.

What does that mean ? Well, you need to make sure that you have your company registration details on your website and every email you send out.

So watch out for paranoia-inducing, unscrupulous, scaremongering emails from web developers attempting to offer legal advice and to update your website to comply with the new laws...unless, of course, it was the one from us ! In which case, please get in touch with 10th Planet immediately or risk a fine, public flogging and life imprisonment. Or something.
